Carl Frampton says he's hopeful of securing a Belfast showdown.

The Jackal's revealed his team are in talks about confirming a third fight with Leo Santa Cruz.

Speaking to the IFA on Twitter, Frampton believes the deal could be wrapped up soon.

Last month the Tiger's Bay boxer lost his unbeaten record and the WBA 'super' featherweight title to the Mexican in Las Vegas.

He hopes Santa Cruz will back up his promise to complete the trilogy.
