Former Cool FM presenter dies suddenly

Tributes have been pouring in for popular radio presenter Stephen Clements who died suddenly today aged 47.

The broadcaster formerly worked for Cool FM and Q Radio before becoming a mid-morning presenter show for BBC Radio Ulster.

The radio personality was a married father-of-two and from Carrickfergus.

BBC Northern Ireland director Peter Johnston said: "We are sorry to bring you the sad news of the passing of our colleague, Stephen Clements.

"Our thoughts are with Stephen's family, friends and colleagues, at this difficult time.''

The presenter, from Carrickfergus, is survived by his wife, Natasha, and their two children, Poppy and Robbie.
