Five injured after car crashes into park benches in Newtownabbey

Five people have been injured after a car struck two benches in a park in County Antrim.
It happened at Hazelbank in Newtownabbey yesterday afternoon.
No one was seriously hurt.
A PSNI statement said, “Police received a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at the Shore Road area of Newtownabbey on Monday 15th July.”
“Shortly before 2:50pm, it was reported that a red Toyota Auris had struck two benches in the Hazelbank area and five people received minor injuries.”
“Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1007 15/07/24.”
