Firefighters in NI to strike in pay row

Firefighters have given a resounding vote to strike over pay in Northern Ireland.

In Monday's ballot, it's been revealed 94% voted 'Yes'. The turn-out was 68%. The Fire Brigades Union says it has given the government ten days in which to respond.

In the UK-wide ballot on industrial action by the Fire Brigades Union, 88% voted yes with a 73% turn-out.
