A 48-year-old man has died after a house fire in Co Antrim.
The fire broke out at a home in the Waring Street area of Ballymena on Friday morning.
Two appliances from Ballymena fire station attended the incident after the blaze was reported at 9.30 am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said "his death is not being treated as suspicious, and inquiries into the circumstances of the fire are ongoing."
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service said, "the thoughts of its members were with the man's loved ones.
"The team are urging the public to test their smoke alarms weekly and to check for obvious fire dangers in their homes."
