The Big Dipper is gone 🎢
Last updated 2nd Apr 2023
One of Northern Ireland's much loved summer attractions, Curry’s Fun Park, formerly Barry's Amusements in Portrush, will today (Sunday 2nd April) just in time for Easter.
Curry’s Fun Park broke the news on social media this morning, writing: “Easter in Portrush has always been known as the start of the season. At Curry’s Fun Park that means The Season of Fun .
“After welcoming happy families from near and far in their first season Curry’s are hugely excited for another year of fun, laughter and screams of fun.”
It looks like the family-favourite ‘Big Dipper’ ride has been dismantled and a log flume has replaced it.
“Alongside your favourites this year is a new arrival geared to splashing family fun,” explains the team at Curry’s.
“Shipped in from Austria comes Aqua Valley..a great addition to Portrush. Just jump in the boat , hold tight and enjoy a panoramic view of the West Bay before plunging downwards to the splash zones .. guaranteed to create great memories and fab photos.
What are the opening times for Curry’s Fun Park?
Open daily, from 12pm to late throughout the summer.
