The death of a woman whose body was found on a beach in Holywood this week is not being treated as suspicious, say police.

It follows the results of a post mortem.

An investigation was launched into the circumstances of the woman’s death after the discovery was made in the Cultra area on Monday morning.

In an update today the PSNI said, “A post mortem has been carried out and the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
