Child (8) treated for shock after aggravated burglary
An eight-year-old girl has been treated for shock after being held down by attackers during an aggravated burglary in County Down.
Two other females aged 48 and 17 were also injured during the incident in Banbridge.
Three men wearing dark hoodies forced their way into the house in the Bramblewood area shortly before 11 on Friday night.
The woman and teenager were treated for suspected fractures and non life threatening injuries.
Police have described it as a "vicious" attack and appealed for information:
"I would ask for the public to assist us in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
"I would ask that anyone with information contact 101 quoting reference 1505 of 01/09/17, or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111," said Detective Inspector Stephen Harvey.
