NI goes mad for Black Friday petrol & diesel deal
Forget the clothes and tech discounts...
Last updated 26th Nov 2021
You can't beat the rush of a sale on Black Friday!
Between clothes shops, beauty brands, online retailers and supermarkets slashing their prices, it's a good day for customers.
And for some drivers on their way to work this morning, they certainly spotted a surprise at GO Fuel stations across Northern Ireland.
GO are cutting the cost of its petrol and diesel down to just £1.19 per litre for a limited time, from 7am-7pm.
At a time when petrol prices hit their highest level on record, and could rise further in the coming weeks, this will definitely be popular throughout the day.
Here are the stations involved:
- A1 Banbridge
- Armagh
- Ballynahinch
- Cameron Stewarts
- Carrickfergus
- Cookstown
- Crewcatt
- Crumlin
- Dunman
- Grand Parade
- Great Victoria Street
- Lissan
- Newell Stores
- Portadown
- Twin Spires
- Yorkgate
In a post shared on social media the firm said diesel and unleaded will be cut with a 20p discount.
It was announced as a Black Friday deal with ‘No Catch. Just huge savings.”
There is a maximum fill of £100 and must be into vehicle tanks only with no container/ storage tank fills allowed.
As the news broke, queues started to form across NI in the hope to scoop the limited deal.
