Belfast man in hospital after 'serious shark bite'
A Belfast man has been taken to hospital with a serious arm injury after being bitten by a shark in Co Cork.
He had been out fishing when he sustained the injury from a Blue Shark in Crosshaven on Saturday evening.
A Deep Sea angling boat arrived with the man first and gave him first aid at the scene, before Crosshaven RNLI were able to then offer further assistance.
The man was then taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
