Arrests over shooting of PSNI officer
Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a police officer in North Belfast earlier this year have arrested two men.
The pair, aged 18 and 33, were detained in the west of the City this morning and are being questioned about a shooting at a filling station on the Crumlin Road on Sunday January 22nd.
A community police officer sustained two bullet wounds to the arm in the incident.
Detectives continue to appeal to anyone who has any information that could help their investigation to contact detectives by calling 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
