Five people are getting hospital treatment following a crash in Markethill.

Police say the two car collision happened in the Mullaghbrack Road area.

Officers along with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at approximately 2.40 yesterday afternoon.

A PSNI statement reads: "Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Markethill yesterday afternoon, Sunday 4th May.

At approximately 2.40pm, it was reported that there had been a road traffic collision involving two vehicles in the Mullaghbrack Road area.

Officers along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and five people were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or other footage that could assist with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 930 04/05/25.
