8 more covid-related deaths in NI
Hundreds of new cases have been recorded

The Department of Health has recorded 8 more covid-related deaths in Northern Ireland.
All of the deaths happened within the past 24 hours.
A further 442 positive cases have been identified, after a further 3,024 people were tested.
There are currently 431 covid patients in hospital, 39 in ICU.
Tomorrow Northern Ireland will enter a 2-week lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.
Non-essential shops will have to close, along with close-contact services, and the hospitality sector.
