18-year old motorcyclist suffers 'serious' injuries in Lisburn hit-and-run

A motorcyclist is receiving treatment in hospital following a hit-and-run collision on Saturday night.

It happened just after six o'clock in Lisburn.

A motorcyclist was struck by a silver vehicle at the junction of the Moira Road and Ballycreen Drive.

The 18-year old is being treated in hospital for injuries which are described as serious.

Police are appealing for information.

""We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, who witnessed the collision or a silver vehicle being driven in a suspicious manner, to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1213 of 18/01/25.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or other footage."
