Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced big plans to hit the road next year.

Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and the returning John Frusciante have partnered with Live Nation for a 32-city global stadium tour, kicking off in June 2022.

With stops in London, Paris, Dublin, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, the band are in for a busy summer, before wrapping things up in Texas in September.

They'll be performing in Ireland on June 29th, at Marlay Park in Dublin.

Special guests joining the band on tour include A$AP Rocky, The Strokes, Beck, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, HAIM, St. Vincent, plus Thundercat and King Princess.

Since their inception in Los Angeles almost four decades ago, Red Hot Chili Peppers have carved a unique niche in the musical landscape with their instantly recognisable funk-tinged rock sounds.

The 2022 tour will mark the return of guitarist and all round cosmic musician John Frusciante to the group.

They'll be performing classic hits from their 39-year back catalogue together with songs from their upcoming 12th studio album.

Speaking about their upcoming tour, the band shared that their "hearts are full and they’re fixing to unleash an infinite river of creativity, and rock your world."
