Kasabian’s Tom Meighan talks shorts, being young at heart and coming to Belfast

Rock band Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan caught up with John Kearns ahead of the group’s Belfast gig this summer.
Tom describes the band’s latest album ‘Crying Out Loud,’ as an eclectic mix of powerful, 1970s punk, NYC dance underground and Blondie.
The Leicester singer told JK they had a lot of fun making the new album and enjoyed reliving their teenage days through the studio set.
The rocker, a massive fan of Premier League football champions, Leicester City talked fatherhood (Meighan has a four-year-old daughter Mimi Malone with ex Kim James,) life in a band and says Belfast can expect a ‘fuller, riper more positive Tom Meighan’ in the upcoming concert.
He also had some fashion tips for Cool listeners and rock fans giving away his favourite tip for the hot weather.
