Leading the crop of rising Irish stars, Versatile have been busy conquering the biggest domestic festivals and selling out Ireland’s biggest venues and arenas, including two sold out headline shows at Ireland’s largest indoor concert arena - the 13,500 capacity 3Arena in Dublin (November 2019 and April 2022).

And the duo are coming to The Telegraph Building, Belfast on Friday 24th November 2023. Tickets available this Friday at 10am from ticketmaster.ie

With a quickly growing global presence and the help of a cult-like following, Versatile’s diverse style range attracts fans and audiences from all walks of life. Versatile’s unique approach and genre bending sound has defined Irish Hip Hop.

The group composed of rappers Casper Walsh, Eskimo Supreme exploded onto the scene with their Dublin City G’s EP / Mixtape in 2017, rising through the ranks in no time leaving a trail of sold out shows and stunned audiences behind them.

Summer 2019 saw Versatile make Irish music history and cemented them as Ireland’s biggest Hip Hop group. Their headline show at Cork Marquee (5,000 cap) sold out in minutes making it the biggest Hip Hop concert to be headlined by an Irish artist in Ireland.

This success was soon followed by their unforgettable performance at Longitude Festival ‘19 to a 40,000 strong crowd sharing the headline stage with Cardi B and Stormzy and pulling the biggest audience of the weekend, leaving the remaining festival site deserted.

Following that and having amassed over 100 million streams independently on their own record label, Versatile sold out their biggest headline concert to date at the 3 Arena Dublin (13,500 capacity). They sold out their 3arena debut in a matter of hours.

Leading up to this show Versatile released a single & music video for ‘Escape Wagon’ featuring Coolio. The deceased Compton legend discovered Versatile on a trip to Ireland in 2019 and invited them to his show. They immediately formed a close friendship and began writing music together.

Coolio joined Versatile as a surprise guest at their sold out 3 Arena show in Dublin later that year and they performed Escape Wagon + his timeless anthem ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ together. Close until the very end Coolio spent 10 weeks out of his final summer in Dublin, writing music with Versatile before his tragic death in Los Angeles in September 2022.

January 2020 saw Versatile win Best Hip Hop Act at the UK Urban Music Awards. Worldwide the Urban Music Awards alumni include; Beyonce, Rhianna, Jay-Z, Nas, Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, Dizzee Rascal & more. The awards first launched in the UK at a time where no one worldwide supported British urban artists giving early platform to household names including; Dizzee Rascal, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle.

Versatile claimed the prize of Best Hip Hop act 2020, which is notably first time an Irish artist has won the prestigious award.

Though the Covid-19 Pandemic wrote off the rest of 2020 worldwide, Versatile were busy completing their debut album ’Fuck Versatile’ which they released independently in May 2021.

Rolling out of the Covid pandemic in style, Versatile were the first Irish artists to perform a headline show at the 3Arena in Dublin post pandemic in April 2022, making it their second time to headline the iconic 13,500 capacity arena in their hometown.

The album was followed with a remix of ‘Fuck Versatile’ album favourite ‘Panic Attack’ featuring Detroit Rap legends D12 (Shady Records/Eminem).

The fast paced EDM banger features Versatile going back to back with D12 members Kuniva, Swifty Mcvay & Bizarre.

March 2023 saw Versatile head out on a world tour supporting Rap legend Snoop Dogg, alongside D12 on Snoop’s ‘I Wanna Thank Me Tour’.

Versatile toured the globe with Snoop Dogg opening for him across 21 arena shows and performing to almost 300,000 fans in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland & More.

Summer 2023 will see Versatile release new music, perform in Canada for the first time headlining ‘Groove In The Wild’ festival in B.C and a highly anticipated performance at ‘TrailerFest’ in Holland and some select headline dates around the world.
