Harry Styles to headline historic Slane Castle this weekend

One of the biggest artists in the world right now, Harry Styles, will take to the stage at Slane Castle this weekend to a crowd of 80,000 fans.

The Satellite singer joins a long list of legends that have taken to the iconic stage at Slane, including The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Queen, U2, Eminem, Kings Of Leon and Oasis.

After two sold-out shows in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium last year, this show on Saturday is going to extra special.

Cool FM visited the site earlier this week for a sneak peek at the set-up. Check it out 👇

Stage times and support acts

Special guests have been announced for the big day: Irish rock band Inhaler and indie rockers Wet Leg.

As well as Harry's own guitarist Mitch and Ireland’s very own DJ Annie Mac.

Doors will open at 2pm, with the show set to kick off at 2.30pm.

How to get to Slane Castle

There is no roadside parking and 24-hour towing and clamping will be in operation.

Organisers have asked everyone travelling to allow for an extra three hours travel time.

Over 30,000 fans are expected to travel to Slane Castle via bus/coach. There are local bus providers travelling from all over Ireland

To check the nearest bus service to you, visit www.evntz.ie and select your province.

If you're travelling by car, car parks must be booked in advance from www.evntz.ie. There are four official car parks for the event: Green, Blue, Red and Pink.

Car parks are assigned when booking based on Garda traffic management plans, including a 30-minute walk to the site.

Are tickets still available?

Tickets from the original release have sold out, but there are now a limited amount of resales available on ticketmaster.ie.

Slane Castle Do’s & Don’ts:

DO ✅ Download/Transfer your tickets before you go

DO ✅ Bring a battery pack for your phone

DO ✅ Plan your trip before you go

DO ✅ Stay hydrated – there are water stations across the site – use them

DON’T ❌ Bring chairs, umbrellas, flags, alcohol or professional recording equipment

DON’T ❌ Wear high heels, keep your footwear flat & comfortable

DON’T ❌ Bring a bag over A4 size

DON’T ❌ Queue for the concert early

What’s the weather forecast?

According to forecasters it should be ‘generally cloudy with showers moving up from the south to all areas through the morning and afternoon. Staying quite mild though with highest temperatures of 18.’

Organisers have assured us, come rain or shine, the event will go ahead. Don’t forget umbrellas won’t be permitted so pack a poncho or raincoat instead!
