English production trio Disciples caught up with Curtis McCosh, ahead of their Belfast performance at Vital festival this summer. Nathan Duvall, Gavin Koolmon and Luke McDermott feature on Tiesto’s headline bill on August 26, alongside Clean Bandit, Robin Schulz and Sigala as special guests.

The trinity were working on solo projects before joining forces in 2011 to form the London based house and electronic signature sound. The trio that brought us hits such as On my mind, Daylight* *and Mastermind chatted all things festival season.

The boys were snapped up not long after putting three sounds together as one. Now their baselines and house drums have earned collaborations with some of the industry’s biggest names, most notably Calvin Harris and David Guetta. How deep is your love and No Worries are some of their finest examples of the commercial house collections.

Curtis couldn’t let the trio go without asking them about their favourite emojis and their thoughts on the Belfast crowd. They also teased fans by promising a new sound before the start of July, just in time for their Belfast appearance.
