Irish rock duo Dea Matrona have announced their first full UK and Ireland headline tour for May & June 2023.

The tour stopped off in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, London, Bristol, Derby, Dublin and will finish this Saturday (3rd June) in Belfast’s Mandela Hall.

Dea Matrona comprises two school friends, Mollie McGinn and Orlaith Forsythe, who grew up busking to their favourite rock ‘n’ roll anthems on the streets of Belfast.

Speaking about the tour, Mollie and Orlaith said: “We really loved being out on the road and it will be extra special to come back to the U.K in May for our own headline shows. We’ve got a lot up our sleeve for these gigs and are very excited to make our debut in some new cities. Mandela Hall will be our biggest and only Belfast show of 2023”

Covering the likes of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Homeward Bound’, Mollie and Orlaith have reached an online community of 250,000 followers and racked up over 8 million views on YouTube.

With their hard hitting riffs and musical intensity they have established a rare, sensational sound – gritty and real but loaded with melody and style.
