Author: Emma DicksonPublished 28th Feb 2025

Exciting news for local singer Gareth from Castlederg has just been announced as the support for Kip Moore in Belfast at the SSE Arena.

📍 1st June 2025

Born and raised in Castlederg, Northern Ireland, Gareth is blending his Irish roots with his love for country music and storytelling.

At the age of 14, Gareth decided to focus on learning the guitar and gigging locally across Ireland to share his talent. After years of local performance, Gareth began cultivating a fan base online.

In the fall of 2023, he teased a snippet of “Stick Season” by Noah Kahan which has now garnered more than 25 million online views and 10 million streams. This kickstarted a loyal and active fanbase which has streamed his debut cover EP “Covers (From Across The Pond)” over 15 million times.

After appearing on stage with Brett Young in Belfast last year, Gareth spent the summer putting out original music, including his debut single “What You Don’t Know” and “Changing Seasons,” the title track of an EP released in October 2024. Gareth is currently based in Nashville where he recently signed a publishing deal with BMG.
