Nocturnes - oil painting exhibition
Immerse yourself in the beauty of artwork with Joel Simon’s oil painting exhibition featuring atmospheric depictions of Belfast at night. The exhibition promises a journey through Belfast’s nightlife, as seen through the eyes of an artist who has made the city his muse. This event will take place at Atypicla Gallery, 109-113 Royal Avenue until 26 January.
Out to Lunch and Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival 2024
The 19th Out to Lunch Festival will feature music, comedy, theatre, film, the spoken word and hot lunches to warm the long dark month of January from the 6th to 28th.

IMBOLC International Music Festival 2024
IMBOLC International Music Festival is one of the highlights of the Northwest cultural calendar and one of Ireland's music festivals renowned for not only presenting performances in a great atmosphere by world class artists but in championing up-and-coming talent in a range of genres. Generously supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Derry City and Strabane District Council, the event will take place from the 28th January- 4th February across Cultural Quarter and Great James Street.

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are inviting residents across the Borough to join them to ‘Plant a Tree for the New Year' and help us reach their One Million Tree target.
Friends and family are invited along to plant a tree and help improve Tree Equity Score by planting more trees, trees play a key part in addressing extreme heat, pollution and other environmental hazards such as flooding.

The primary aim of the Arts Council NI's collection has been to raise awareness of and interest in the contemporary visual arts from Northern Ireland, and to encourage the commissioning and purchase of work, as well as providing patronage to artists.
