Our top tip for visiting the Balmoral Show...arrive on an empty stomach!

There's honestly something for everything to enjoy, from homemade ice cream to gourmet burgers and loaded fries.

Celebrating the very best local produce, brands and businesses, you could easily eat your way through the busy site in Lisburn.

Northern Ireland's very best food producers can be found inside the Food Pavilion, plus there's a host of pop-up shops and food trucks located at various points on the map.

We've spent the first few days exploring and testing as much as we possibly can, so we can bring you our best foodie highlights. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it 🤣

Lick Gelato

Serving up the very best homemade gelato, with a smile and the best craic! If you've got a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by and ask for the 'smashed donut' they're incredible. It's a yummy sugar coated donut, split in two, filled with the ice cream of your choice, then sandwiched together and lightly toasted. You can even finish it off with a yummy sauce and topping! Thank us later! 🙌

Glaze and Roll

Sorry, did someone say CHICKEN TACOS! One of the busiest exhibitors at the show, this is artisan street food with a difference. From loaded cajun chicken burgers to their exciting range of plant based dishes, the hard part is picking just one option!

The Brownie Barn

Located inside the busy Food Pavillion you'll find a host of local food brands and businesses. The Brownie Barn is your one stop shop for traybakes, they've got everything from raspberry ruffle slices to malteaser squares and of course the humble brownie. After a long day at the show, nothing is better than a good old cuppa and a sweet treat!

Nothing says a day at the fair, quite like a toasty crepe filled with lashings of Nutella and strawberries. Parked just beside our Downtown stage and

Naturo Pet Food

And of course, the Balmoral Show isn't just for us, four legged friends can also take full advantage of the the Food Pavilion. The Mackle family have been creating high quality pet food in County Armagh, Northern Ireland for almost 50 years. With so many flavours and variations there's lots to see, plus they've just launched cat food too.

Hellbent

You can't miss the alluring smell of Hellbent wafting through the Food Pavilion. Here you'll find coiled sausages, burgers and meatballs, made from a 100-year-old, South African recipe using Irish beef. It is a taste you won't find anywhere else.

The Hatch

One of Co. Down's best street food trucks is parked up just beside the Food Pavilion, you can't miss it! Serving up showstopping burgers, LOADED FRIES, breakfast baps and kiddies meals too. You should really try their signature CHEESY gravy chips with homemade southern chicken gravy.

Spar

As soon as you walk through the gates at the show, it's impossible to miss the bright red cowboys hats provided by the team at SPAR. They've built a first class pop-up shop, complete with multiple Barista Bars and a monster fridge filled with endless sandwiches. You'll feel left out if you don't stop by.

Noisy Snacks

This colourful stand will definitely catch your eye in the Food Pavilion, Noisy Snacks offer more than just quirky treats. Their motto is "Make some noise 🥁Because life's too short for boring snacks!" Pecan chips, roasted nuts and chunky corn are all available from the stand.

Curbed

We're talking gourmet burgers, hot dogs and dirty fries! This state of the art 'shipping container' has been a hit with the visitors at the show. Located next to the horse rings, there's plenty of space nearby to relax and unwind with something yummy!
