Everything you need to know about the 2017 Balmoral Show

When? Starting today until Saturday, the event sees a new four-day show with the festivities extending to the weekend for the first time ever. Saturday will see a prolonged celebration to mark the 149th year of the event.

Where? Balmoral Park, Sprucefield, BT27 5RF.

Getting to the show: A free bus service is in operation from Lisburn Train station between 9am and 6.20pm (Thursday 8.20pm) to the new showgrounds at Balmoral Park.

There are also two taxi services available from the front of the main entrance and the Eikon exhibition centre.

Can I park on site? Free, limited parking is available at the front of the King's Hall Complex, open 9am-10pm. On-site parking is also available, £7 per day per car and £12 per day per coach. An overflow car park will be in operation but with a slightly longer walk to the show.

How much are tickets?

Adult (18+) £18 Youth (12-18 years) £12 Seniors (65+) £14 Child (5-11 years) £3 All tickets are valid for one day, proof of age may be required.

What’s on offer? Ireland’s largest agri-food event promises to be bigger and better than ever before with fantastic arena and livestock attractions including fun for all the family. There will also be a Downtown Radio Show Stage showcasing three days of homegrown musical talent.
