Antrim Castle Gardens to host 'Evenings of Inclusive Enchantment' at winter garden
The gardens will be transformed into a magical illuminated outdoor experience ✨
The Enchanted Winter Garden at Antrim Castle Gardens returns from Saturday 27 November until Tuesday 21st December, transforming Antrim’s award-winning Castle Gardens into an after-dark illuminated outdoor experience for all the family.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, supported by Belfast International Airport, will host the evenings on Wednesday 1 and 8 December (4pm – 9.30pm) for visitors with specific needs, including those who are sensitive to noise, lights and crowds.
The winter garden features an array of festive attractions sure to entice the whole family along and capture the magic of Christmas.
The dedicated ‘Inclusive Enchantment’ evenings will offer restricted capacity, timed entry with attractions and rides slowed down, music levels lowered, as well as strobe lighting and other strong lighting turned off.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Billy Webb MBE said: “We are delighted to be hosting two special evenings of ‘Inclusive Enchantment’ at this year’s Enchanted Winter Garden for children and adults with specific needs.
“These special evenings will offer those who are sensitive to noise, light and large crowds the opportunity to come along, enjoy this magical experience with their families and really capture the magic of Christmas.
”2021 has been another challenging year for everyone, but we hope to end things on a high by bringing a bit of festive magic for families across the region by experiencing a night of unique atmosphere, fun and festivities.”
Tickets for the 'Evenings of Inclusive Enchantment' on Wednesday 1st and 8th December (4pm – 9.30pm) are available from enchantedwintergarden.com or 0300 123 7788.
