Stay inside Marianne's idyllic Italian villa in Normal People
It's so cheap, where do we sign up? 🤯
It has been a year since the world fell for Connell and Marianne’s love story in Normal People. And the country was stuck in lockdown, our imagination was running wild in Italy with the lovestruck pair.
But did you know you can actually rent Marianne's idyllic family villa in Italy on Airbnb?
The villa is introduced in episode eight of the 12-part series, where Marianne, her boyfriend Jamie, Connell, and their friends take a trip to Trieste near Venice for the summer.
In reality, the villa is in fact an old farmhouse based in Sant'Oreste, Lazio, around 22 miles north of Rome.
Fun fact: The space was used as a filming location for Julia Robert’s cult classic “Eat, Pray, Love.”
Since Normal People aired, fans of the show have been busy booking up holidays at the villa, with only a handful of available dates left for the rest of this year.
The Airbnb listing says “the villa is ideally located for guests to relax and enjoy poolside comfort in a rustic setting”.
Guests coming to stay will have full use of a private apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, and living room.
They will also have access to the garden for al fresco dining, a barbeque and pool with “incomparable” views. Guests are told they will be treated like royalty by the Riccioni family who live in the main house.
If you’re looking for a secluded getaway for one, all of this will only set you back €35 per night.
