Belfast's Neighbourhood Café back brewing in new forever home
Neighbourhood Café reopened today! ☕️
One of Belfast’s firm favourite coffee, interior, and food spaces, Neighbourhood Café, is open for business in its new state-of-the-art location on 61 Donegall Street.
With a focus on exceptionally brewed coffee, delicious locally sourced food and thoughtfully curated design, the new Neighbourhood Café promises to be a go-to hot spot for coffee lovers, foodies, and those visiting Belfast looking for a warm, welcoming space in the city.
Fresh from the success of their previous space on nearby Commercial Court, co-founders Oisín McEvoy and Ryan Crown are back this time with their forever home in a space that blends a warm Belfast welcome with thoughtful design and a delicious new menu packed with previous favourites and some new must-try dishes.
Designed by Crown Creative, the space emphasises a feeling of community, warmth, and familiarity with an island central bar taking centre stage. Generous upholstered seating wraps the room with warm hues, with natural oak and rustic brick layered with brass touch points and rich green textural tones creating an interior synonymous with the brand of Neighbourhood.
With all ingredients sourced locally, highlights include Turkish Eggs, Chorizo Hash, Banana Bread French Toast, and seasonal porridge, along with artisan pastries and expertly brewed Irish coffee.
Rooted in the heart of Cathedral Quarter, Neighbourhood Café has already become a much-loved addition to the community. Located in Sessia House, adjacent to St. Anne's Cathedral, the space pays homage to the area’s rich character and will continue to celebrate what makes Belfast special – great food, warm people, and a creative community spirit.
Oisín McEvoy, co-founder of Neighbourhood Café, said:
“The opening of our new premises on Donegall Street is a major milestone in the story of Neighbourhood. A lot of hard work has been put in by a lot of people to ensure that our forever home in Belfast perfectly encapsulates the Neighbourhood vibe, and I think we’ve done just that.
“We wanted to create a fresh new spot that feels like a proper neighbourhood hub – a local spot where people can kick back in a booth over great food, chatting or making plans for the weekend”.”
Fellow co-founder, Ryan Crown, said: “We’ve poured our hearts into creating this space. We’re blessed that Neighbourhood Café has such a brilliant community spirit and are so excited to welcome back our friends and family, and hopefully to see a few new faces too.”
Neighbourhood Café is located at 61 Donegall Street, Belfast and is now open Monday - Sunday, 8am - 4pm.
