Popular Ballymena bakery announces new store in Belfast

One of Ballymena's 'not so hidden' gems, Dougies Goodies, broke the news on social media this morning that they're opening a new store in Belfast.

The bakery is best known locally for its speciality cakes and wide selection of buns, baked goods and sweet treats.

Sharing a video on social media this morning, the post reads: "We promised a BIG announcement 🎉 BELFAST WE ARE COMING 🙌

"We are SO excited to announce we will be opening our brand new bakery on Fountain Street, in Belfast City Centre💕"

Belfast comedian Ciarán Bartlett is a fan of Dougies Goodies, a video on him chatting about their Chocolate french fancies on the Tea With Me podcast has over 656k views on TikTok.
