It's back, The X Factor will be returning to our TV screens this autumn and this afternoon ITV have confirmed the actual date it will be returning and it's not far off!
The announcement was posted across social media with a short video, including a photo of the judges and host Dermot O'Leary, who will be returning for another year.
The new series that has started the careers of Little Mix, Louisa Johnson and Alexandra Burke will return on ITV at 8pm on Saturday the 2nd September. We can't wait!

The series will see hopefuls auditioning in front of the judges in a room setting, before the successful ones return for an arena-style bootcamp. This will be followed by the infamous Six Chair Challenge before the judges' houses and the live shows.
