* SPOILER ALERT *

Ahead of the hugely anticipated season finale, HBO have released behind the scenes footage showing how the the nail-biting Games of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 was filmed - and it's seriously impressive.

The frozen lake scene involving fire, ice, dragons and a zombie polar bear was made from concrete and shot near Ligoniel in a Belfast quarry.

To create a desired artic effect, 3000 bags of fake snow had to be brought in and surrounding rock surfaces sprayed with special effects paint.

The 13 minute clip shows how Daenery's dragons are CGI'd into the show, as she clings on to a large green simulated prop.
