Believe it or not, The Only Way Is Essex is now onto its 28th series, with the popular ITV reality show first hitting our screens way back in October 2010.

Despite spanning a decade and catapulting the likes of Mark Wright, Amy Childs and Gemma Collins into the spotlight, the series is still just as popular and now bosses have confirmed when the hit series will return.

Fans don’t have to wait long, TOWIE series 28 will land on Sunday 14th March (that’s Mother’s Day in case you’ve forgotten).

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, bosses have revealed OG TOWIE star Harry Derbidge will return for the new series, having not featured in the last series. Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Harry wrote, ‘Guess who’s back 😊 @towie day 1 filming 🤍'. (sic)

As well as Harry, TOWIE favourites Bobby Norris, Chloe Sims, Pete Wicks, Amy Childs, Chloe Meadows, Frankie Sims, Clelia Theodorou, Courtney Green, Saffron Lempriere, Ella Wise, Harry Lee, Tom McDonnell, Joey Turner, Chloe Brockett, Liam Gatsby, Nicole Wass and Kelsey Stratford will also feature in series 28.

The last series of TOWIE ended in wonderful fashion back in December, with Tommy Mallett and Georgia Kousolou confirming they were expecting their first child together in the sweetest way.

After the Christmas special aired, the loved-up couple took to Instagram to write, 'WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!👶 MAY 2021❤️ We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives 🙊 such lovely news to end this crazy year ! Let the next chapter begin.. ✨'. (sic)
