No matter the age, we’ve all been glued to the TV on a rainy evening tuning into our favourite shows!
It’s always nice to reflect on days gone by, and we have pulled together some golden oldies from the archive.
The Kelly Show
Every Friday night veteran broadcaster Gerry Kelly hosted the popular chat show. It ran from 1989 to 2005. Famously, the show featured a young budding golfer by the name of Rory Mcllroy, as well as man of the moment Line of Duty's Ted Hastings aka actor Adrian Dunbar.
School Around The Corner
Weatherman extraordinaire Frank Mitchell hosted the show where kids from local schools would come on and entertain the nation. The show, an adaption of a RTE programme, aired for 10 years and was extremely popular among families.

Jenny Bristow Cooks Gloriously Good Food
Certain to tingle the tastebuds were Jenny Bristow’s recipes. The Coleraine chef’s tele show aired in 2001 and was followed by a bestselling book of the same name.
Together in the Park
An initiative by children’s agency Early Years ran a series of cartoons during ad breaks tackling issues of bullying and discrimination. The mini stories were introduced with a catchy song which is sure to be stuck in your head all day…trust me 🤣
Come Fly With Julian
But now…when enigmatic announcer Julian Simmons wasn’t introducing the latest Corrie, he was jetting off to a host of exotic locations on his travel programme during the nineties.
