Golf fans around the world will be excited to hear Netflix have just announced the latest addition to their sports documentary catalogue.

The team behind the must-see Formula 1 Drive To Survive series are going behind the scenes of the PGA TOUR and golf’s Major championships, for the first time ever.

Swapping the track for the fairway, the series will capture the intensity of training, travel, victory, and defeat through the lens of a diverse group of golfers and their teams.

Rick Anderson, Chief Media Officer of the PGA TOUR commented: “This partnership with Netflix presents the PGA TOUR and the four Major championships an opportunity to tap into a completely new and diverse audience.”

Golfers involved in the series:

Netlfix shared a list of current PGA TOUR player commitments.

In alphabetical order - Abraham Ancer, Daniel Berger, Cameron Champ, Joel Dahmen, Tony Finau, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Harry Higgs, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Kevin Na, Mito Pereira, Ian Poulter, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Bubba Watson.

Local golf heroes Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell don’t appear on the list, but that’s not to say they won’t feature.

Giving golf fans an inside view of the season from a beginner’s eyes, world’s #1-ranked amateur golfer, Keita Nakajima, will participate as he plays in the first Major championships of his career.

Filming will take place throughout 2022, with the final TOUR Championship taking place in Atlanta on August 24th -28th.
