Love Island 2016 stars Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen are tying the knot this month and fans will get the chance to see the loved-up pair planning their big day on their brand new TV show Alex and Olivia Said Yes.

The couple, who announced their engagement in December 2016, have now revealed the start day for the show which will air on TLC. Taking to her Instagram page, Olivia wrote, 'Our 1 hour special ‘Alex & Olivia Said Yes’ will be out on the 28th September on @tlctvuk 😬😱💋💕🎉'. sic

The hour-long show is expected to show both Olivia and Alex planning their big day, including picking the dress, the cake, the food and the venue. It's also set to show some of the couple's special day as they say their vows.

Olivia first announced the couple had landed their own TV show back in May this year. Taking to Twitter, Olivia wrote, 'Confirming the news on social media, Olivia wrote, 'So! Big news today for me & my @ab_bowen07! Our new show ‘Alex & Olivia Said Yes’ covering all the lead up to our wedding & the big day ❤️✨ coming in September to @tlc_uk we are SO excited 💋💍💕❤️'. sic

Whilst Olivia's Love Island bestie Cara de la Hoyde was originally supposed to be one of her bridesmaids, the 24-year-old recently revealed she's dropped Cara from her duties.

That’s right, Olivia revealed in a recent interview that Cara is no longer on bridesmaid duties because she ‘couldn’t handle the pressure’. Speaking to new! magazine, Olivia said, "Cara’s got Freddie now and when I asked her to be a bridesmaid she was a lot less busy and I thought she could handle the pressure."

But don’t panic, it looks like the pair are still the best of friends and Cara will still be attending the wedding. Olivia later added, "We both don’t need that label. You don’t have to be a bridesmaid to know that we are good friends. We're very honest with each other."
