It's only been a couple of days since the 17th series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off and we've already seen boxing champion Amir Khan fail a Bushtucker Trail, because he's scared of snakes and creepy crawlies.

But is he?

Last night we saw boxer Amir and Made In Chelsea star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo take on the first Bushtucker Trail of the series. Toff was locked in a box full of creepy crawlies, as Amir had to find the key to get her out. Sounds simple, but of course it's not in the jungle.

As Toff screamed, Amir attempted to find the key by putting his hand through a hole and grabbed a snake! Quickly jumping back, the 30-year-old screamed "ahhhhhh" before crawling back down the tunnel and saying "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!"

Watch the moment below:

Sadly for the camp this meant they failed the Bushtucker Trail resulting in no food, and it was obvious that Toff wasn't very happy with the outcome, despite having been locked in the box with all the creepy crawlies.

While Amir's reaction to the snake attracted a lot of attention online, was he really scared of the snake?

Fans were quick to unearth a photo from five years ago, which shows the boxer with a much bigger snake than the one he encountered on I'm a Celebrity. While Amir has been quite vocal about his phobia of snakes since the show began on Sunday, the photo from a nightclub seems to show something very different. Maybe he has developed a phobia since then?

Unsurprisingly Amir has been voted for tonight's Bushtucker Trial.

The 17th series of I'm a Celebrity kicked off on Sunday night, reuniting TV presenters Ant and Dec after Ant spent a short stint in rehab.

The pair started off the show immediately addressing the subject with a joke, as Dec started to introduce his co-host as "Holly Willoughby", who had previously been rumoured to step in, if Ant couldn't make it.

When he 'realised' it wasn't Holly he said, "Nobody was sure if you would make it or not. We weren't sure if you were going to be here."

"Unbelievable," Ant replied, "I'm always going to make it! Come on."

The pair then hugged in the cutest way.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight (Tuesday) on ITV at 9pm.
