Belfast's popular Titanic Maritime Festival returns to the city on 25 - 27 May 2019.

Film-lovers will be able to watch a selection of movies at the historic Titanic slipways as organisers have just added a pop-up cinema experience to this year’s line-up of events.

The unique outdoor cinema is set to be one of the festival’s highlights, and will show seven family favourites, including Cinemagic’s Grace and Goliath, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, The Goonies, Free Willy, The Little Mermaid and the Muppets Treasure Island.

There will be 200 free spaces at each film, which will be offered on a first come, first served basis, with attendees encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or deck chair to sit on.

Laura Cowan, head of revenue and product development at Titanic Belfast commented:

“This year’s festival programme has everything from Tall Ships to naval vessels, fun activities, along with an array of performers, musicians, street food and now a pop-up outdoor cinema, extending the family fun into the early evening. If you haven’t yet explored the Maritime Mile and Titanic Quarter, there has never been a better time.”

Joan Burney Keatings MBE, CEO of Cinemagic, said:

“Cinemagic is proud to present a screening of Grace and Goliath at the Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival. It will be a brilliant opportunity for new audiences to see our second home-grown feature film which stars well-known Northern Ireland faces and includes many Northern Ireland locations and key tourist attractions."
