Ireland’s Eurovision record-breaking success could be in jeopardy next year, as Sweden ties now with Ireland for the most wins at the global singing competition.

While it only took Sweden eight years to repeat the experience, Ireland has gone 27 years without winning.

Wild Youth narrowly missed out on this year’s final, while previous-winner Loreen lifted the trophy lifted the trophy again this time in Liverpool.

With next year’s competition taking place in Sweden, all eyes will be on Ireland to bring back the title!

There’s one band that’s rumoured to fit the bill…do the names Shane, Mark, Kian and Nicky ring any bells?

That’s right…Cool Breakfast’s Pete, Paulo & Rebecca have started an online campaign to get Westlife on the Eurovision satge.

With a worldwide fan base and a string of chart-topping hits, they're practically made for this right!
