Ed Sheeran has unveiled the official video for his new single ‘Don’t’.

The clip follows one man’s journey from rags to riches, but done through popping and locking dance moves.

Ed once again teamed up with director Emil Nava for this video, having previously worked together on visuals for Give Me Love, Sing and Lego House, among others.

If fans had been expecting a visual more closely tied to the song’s lyrics, however, this one couldn’t really be further away.

‘Don’t’ started its life as just a riff on Ed’s phone, then following sessions with producers Benny Blanco and Rick Rubin, the track turned into the song it is today.

The Don’t EP, which will be released in the UK on 24 August, will include a Rick Ross remix of the track.

Ed’s album ‘X’ has been incredibly successful and the star Tweeted today to share the news that it has become the UK’s biggest selling album of the year.
