While most celebrities travel in fancy cars and private jets Adele has an alternative method of transport - a box.

Technically it is a flight case used to transport large pieces of equipment, but it's basically a box!

During her current Australian tour the 'When We Were Young' singer has been 'spotted' hiding in a box to get to the stage.

According to a source speaking to a national newspaper many of her gigs are at stadiums and the stage is in the middle, so there is no easy way to get there without her fans seeing her.

The source told the newspaper,

“A few have worked it out as her personal security Peter Van Der Deer - who is never away from her side - accompanies the box during its journey.

"Then her team flank it as it reaches the stage and shield her from view as she climbs out and goes to wait underneath the stage for the start."

Here is a video thought to contain the multi-award winning singer on her way to the stage.

Although the singer has not confirmed this is how she gets to the stage she has hinted at it saying at her Sydney concert, "How I get from to this stage makes me so sweaty, I’m drenched. I can’t tell you til the end of the tour — you’ll laugh when you find out."

Adele is currently on tour in Australia and recently stopped her Sydney gig as a fan suffered a cardiac arrest in front of her. She later continued the show after making sure the paramedics could make their way to the fan who had collapsed.

The 28-year-old singer will be returning to the UK to play a couple of dates at Wembley in June and July.
