Taylor Swift is the only female in 'Best Solo Artist' Q Awards category
Florence + The Machine, Foals, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds lead nominations.
Hit-machine Taylor Swift finds herself the only female in the Best Solo Artist category, up against Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Kanye West and Noel Gallagher.
Florence + The Machine, Foals, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds lead the nominations with three apiece.
Meanwhile 'Don't Be So Hard on Yourself' singer Jess Glynne, who already has two solo number ones under her belt has been nominated in the Best New Act alongside Brit Award winner James Bay.
Blur's successful comeback has also landed them a couple of nominations, for Best Album and Best Act in the World Today, which like something out of the 90s, they are up against old rival Noel Gallagher.
