Rita Ora reveals why she chose The Voice over The X Factor
Her fellow judges also praise the newbie
Rita Ora has revealed exclusively revealed to us why she’s a judge on The Voice and not The X Factor.
The ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ singer was a huge hit when she guest judged The X Factor in 2012 and since then there has been constant press speculation about Rita being offered a permanent role on the show.
Speaking to us at The Voice launch at The Mondrian Hotel in London, Rita said that Simon Cowell has never officially offered her a slot on his ITV show and that her good friends Jessie J and Kylie Minogue had nothing but great things to say about The Voice.

Rita and her fellow The Voice judges Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson and will.i.am also talked about Rita being a newbie on the BBC show.
Music legend Tom Jones especially had kind things to say about his co-judge, saying: “The first thing I thought was I was glad it was Rita because (the producers) said it could be and I said ‘well I hope so’ and it was. And that’s the truth.
“I just wanted to find out whether Rita was going to be as lovely and natural as I thought she’d be – and she is!”
The fourth series of The Voice airs on BBC1 this coming Saturday night (10th January).
