The much-hyped video for One Direction’s current single ‘Steal My Girl’ has premiered!

Set in the scorching hot desert, alongside the previously announced cameos from Danny De Vito and a chimpanzee, the video also sees Zayn grapple with sumo, Niall jump with African tribesmen, Louis hang with a lion and flamingo, Liam conduct a huge brass band and Harry look effortlessly cool in his weather-defying coat.

In a scene that will no doubt excite One Direction’s millions of fans, the video culminates with the boys getting a good soaking in their shirts.

One Direction are hoping to break the 24 hour VEVO views record with the video.

Unleashed in August, Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ currently holds the record with 19.6million 24hours – narrowly beating Miley Cyrus’s 19.3million tally for ‘Wrecking Ball’ a year earlier.

The last time ‘One Direction’ smashed the VEVO record was in July 2013 when ‘Best Song Ever’ wracked up 10.9million views in a day.
