One Direction Announce New Single 'Steal My Girl'
It's released on Sunday 12th October
One Direction have announced details of their brand new single ‘Steal My Girl’.
Set to premiere on our very station on 29th September, ‘Steal My Girl’ is available to pre-order from today ahead of its release on Sunday 12th October.
According to 1D’s management, the song centres on “cascading stadium piano chords” and has a “widescreen pop sound.”
‘Steal My Girl’ has been written by Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne with Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan - the Midas Touched collective behind ‘Best Song Ever’ – and is produced by Bunetta, Ryan and Paro Westerlund. The artwork looks like this:
The single announcement comes less than a week after One Direction confirmed their fourth studio album, the aptly title ‘Four’, will land on 17th November.
To build excitement, the boys gave away album track ‘Fireproof’ to download for one day only from onedirectionmusic.com. It was downloaded over 1million times in 24 hours.
In their four years in the limelight, One Direction have scored 94 number one singles and sold over 46million records across the globe, making them one of the most successful boy bands of all time.
