Nelly fans are streaming his hit ‘Hot In Herre’ to try and help the rapper pay off his tax bill. Nelly, reportedly owes close to $2.5 million in federal taxes and $150,000 in unpaid taxes to the state of Missouri.
Fans have been using #hotinherrestreamingparty to encourage each other to stream KISSTORY classic ‘Hot in Herre’, hoping the profits from each play will help Nelly pay off his tax bill.
However Nelly will need a whole lot of plays to pay off his debts. Spin worked out that ‘at the bare minimum, you’ll have to stream a Nelly joint 402,880,500 times to make a decent dent on his tax issues.’
