Is ‘÷’ the name of Ed Sheeran’s new album?
Ed Sheeran is dropping new music on Friday 6th January
Ed Sheeran started the new year announcing he’d be dropping new music this Friday (6th January). The singer uploaded a video of him waving and holding up a sign reading ‘new music coming Friday!!’ on his socials.
It’s the first post Ed had made since his broke his year long social media silence. On 13th December 2016 EXACTLY one year after Ed announced his break from the internet, he posted up an image of blank blue square to all his social media accounts.
But now Ed’s got his fans all excited, hinting that it could be a WHOLE ALBUM that’s landing on Friday.
This morning (3rd January), Sheeran posted up a video of ‘÷’ symbol against a blue background. Ed’s previous album have been called ‘+’ (plus) and ‘x’ (multiply), so ‘÷’ (divide) would make sense as the name of his third studio album.
