McFly and Busted Form Superband - McBusted!
They play a nine-date arena tour next spring
McFly and Busted have joined forces to form a new pop supergroup – McBusted!
Harry, Doug, Tom & Danny from McFly and Matt & James from Busted (former member Charlie Simpson won’t be taking part) made the announcement at a press conference in London this morning.
Back in September, Matt Willis and James Bourne joined McFly as special guests on the band’s 10th anniversary dates at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Performing ‘Year 3000’, ‘Air Hostess’ and McFly's ‘Shine A Light’ with McFly under the name McBusted, the show prompted speculation that the supergroup might reconvene again.
Confirming the eagerly-anticipated news today, McBusted announced nine UK arena shows for next spring where they will play both Busted and McFly tracks.
Tickets to all the shows go on sale from 9am this coming Friday (15th November).
