Lady Gaga is on course to score her third consecutive UK number one album with ARTPOP.

According to the Official Charts Company, Mother Monster has sold 47,000 copies of the gloriously OTT record in two days making her a dead cert for the top spot!

Last week’s number one and the second fastest selling album of 2013 so far, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, has slipped to number three on the Midweek Chart narrowly behind Celine Dion’s ‘Love Me Back To Life’.
