James Arthur Involved in Polish Pub Fight
He shares a photo of his bloodied face
Just weeks after being dropped by Simon Cowell’s record label Syco, things have taken a turn for the worse once again for James Arthur.
Fresh from performing at the Wromantic Festival in Poland on Sunday, James was involved in a bar scuffle and last night took to Instagram to share his injuries.
The selfie shows a downcast James looking into the camera with visible red gash at the top his nose. He wrote: “Polish bar brawls are the best.”
As fans took to Twitter to offer their support, James tried to make light of the situation by writing: “You should see the other guys.”
He later added: “Don’t worry I’m absolutely fine and in good health just a couple bumps and scratches in a scuffle. Boys will be boys.”
The fight is the latest in a string of controversies for James since triumphing on The X Factor in 2012.
Back in November 2013, a diss track aimed at an unknown MC called Micky Worthless was widely criticised for containing homophobic lyrics.
After becoming embroiled in a very public Twitter row with comedians Frankie Boyle and Matt Lucas over the song, James apologised and his management took over his Twitter account for several weeks.
Earlier this year he slammed his promotional team calling them “embarrassing” and labelled X Factor stars as “karaoke singers.”
After months of speculation, James finally admitted he had been parted company with Syco earlier this month.
