Ed Sheeran is looking for a boy band to take on tour

The unstoppable Ed Sheeran has broken records left, right and centre and now he's announced he is looking for boyband members.

In an recent interview Ed admitted he was already in the process of auditioning for members of a new band he wants to take on tour. The 'Thinking Out Loud' singer has even written a number of songs for the new band saying,

"It is really, really decent. Superpop, but obviously credible."

In the interview with Rolling Stone magazine he explained,

"I'm gonna put three or four boys together and do all the songs, take them on the stadium tour with me."

As well as his own award winning songs Ed, has also written hits for Justin Bieber, One Direction and Taylor Swift, so this new band should expect nothing but the best!

With the release of his third studio album, '÷', Ed currently holds 12 of the top 20 in Spotify's UK chart and it's no surprise with incredible hits like 'Shape of You' and 'Castle on the Hill'.

Ed Sheeran will be starting his UK tour in April playing in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham and London. All the venues have now sold out!
