Cheryl last released solo music in 2015, however her biggest hit was 'I Don't Care' in 2014. Her last album 'Only Human' was also released in 2014, so fans have had to wait a long time for new music from the former Girls Aloud singer.
This very exciting news comes after Dermot O'Leary has confirmed that Cheryl WILL definitely be returning to The X Factor next year.
He told Metro, "Cheryl’s going to come back”
He then added, "If it wasn’t Cheryl, I would love Mariah. It would be a whole new world of crazy my friend."
Rumours of Cheryl's return to the singing show have been rife for a number of years since she last appeared as a main judge back in 2014.
The singer was a hugely popular judge on the show and she enjoyed a successful stint, having won the show with Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry.
Cheryl left in 2010 and returned for one more year in 2014. Following the birth of her first child last year, Cheryl made her return to TV when she joined Simon Cowell in the Judges' House in France.
This brief appearance on the show was a hit with viewers, with many calling for her to return.
The new series of The X Factor will start later this year.
